The entirety of Salvation is the work of God; and His Son Christ Jesus. It is He alone that quickens the soul being “dead in trespasses and sins,” and it is the Lord who maintains the soul in its spiritual life. He is the “Alpha and Omega” He is: the beginning and the end. When our hearts call us to prayer, it is our Father who draws us thus.

When we are given Grace – it is a Gift from our Father. If we hold on to our faith – it is because He upholds us with His mighty hand. Our flesh does nothing toward our preservation - except what God has first done in us. Whatever goodness we have, is of the Lord alone. Wherein we sin, that is our own; but wherein we have obeyed, that is of God – wholly and completely. Whatever victory’s we have over our adversary – it is The Lord who has given us the strength; and it is He who has fought in our behalf.

Do I live a consecrated life? It is not I, but Christ who liveth in me. It is this: which sets us apart. We are sanctified – not by our own doing – we can not cleanse ourselves: It is Gods Holy Spirit that sanctifies us.

We are being weaned from this world by the Lord – for our good; readying us for the world to come. If we grow in knowledge – it is our Father who instructs us. If we possess any heavenly Jewels, they have been fashioned by Christ himself; By Him – through Him- and to Him.

We feed upon the word of God – that word- our food- Christ Jesus incarnate, whose body and whose blood we do eat and drink. And in whom we have our being.

Where do the people of God gather their might? We look to the hills which cometh our help. For God alone is my Rock and my Salvation. The believer knows only to well, that of him self he can do nothing: outside of Christ Jesus.

But after the kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ Our Savior; that being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Salvation is of God, and we are partakers of His divine nature: only to the degree we believe in the Lord Jesus and in Him who sent him. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ… Praise God brethren; God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself. Salvation is of the Lord. God has purposed this salvation, God has accomplished this salvation and delivered this salvation; to us, through the Man Christ Jesus.

As a branch can not bring forth fruit except it abide in the vine, no more can I, except I abide in Him. Let us, with great conviction: continue to abide in the vine. Amen.
